Diversity & Inclusion
That's the beauty of a career at Jazz.
Diversity and Inclusion at Jazz is about celebrating the unique differences of all our employees and creating a safe, inclusive work environment where all employees have a voice and opportunity.
Our DEI strategy is also uniquely driven by our employees. In 2016, Jazz initiated a program designed to empower employees to guide our strategy and support programs related to hiring diverse talent, defining Employee Resource Groups and using education and communication to continue fostering an inclusive environment. Our DEI Delegation now includes more than 60 employees focused on helping to embed diversity and inclusion into all that we do at Jazz.
While the DEI Delegation are advocates for diversity and inclusion at Jazz, we believe that all employees are responsible for creating an inclusive workplace, especially our leaders and managers. We expect our leaders and managers to be skilled at valuing the differences among their teams and that they play a role in helping to embed DEI into the core of our workplace culture and daily work life.

Our DEI Vision

Our Perspective on Diversity & Inclusion
Building an Inclusive Workplace
Each year we ask employees to weigh in on our workplace culture, including in a category dedicated to Feedback & Inclusion. Here’s what they had to say:

“Diversity and inclusion makes Jazz a great place to work because it allows individuals to have an imprint and an impact on the culture created at Jazz Pharmaceuticals.”
Steven Butler
Access & Reimbursement Manager, Hem/Onc

“There is a quote that says: ‘Diversity is the mix, and inclusion is asking how do we get that mix to work?’ Bravo to Jazz for making DEI a part of the conversation in our pursuit of excellence! Diversity is a driver for innovation, and will be an essential component as we continue to grow as a company to ensure we are delivering our best in every way.”
Lauren Griffey
Sr. Manager, US Sales Training

“Our Diversity and Inclusion initiative is important to me and other employees because we all have a common goal of wanting to contribute the best that we can at a great place to work. Knowing that our colleagues – and Jazz itself – will welcome and value each of us for our differences (in addition to our commonalities) will be instrumental to achieving this important goal”
Ann Polus
Sr. Global Counsel, Global Human Resources
Pay equity – it is simply the right thing to do.
At Jazz, we strive to achieve pay equity in every country in which we operate — for roles entailing substantially similar work with respect to skill, effort and responsibilities, we consider multiple factors including external market data, individual performance and internal pay equity pursuant to our compensation philosophy and in keeping with our goal that all employees have the opportunity to earn equal pay for equal work. In addition, on an annual basis, we review employee compensation and make adjustments, where appropriate, to maintain pay equity. As part of our commitment to pay equity, on a global basis, we do not ask candidates about their salary history or consider salary history when determining compensation at Jazz.

We welcome veterans & their families
Military veterans began their careers by doing meaningful work and giving so much of themselves to that endeavor. That same selfless dedication transitions well into Jazz where we focus on putting patients first. We welcome veterans and the experience, leadership and spirit of collaboration that they bring to Jazz.
Our commitment to diversity extends to our suppliers.
When possible, we make thoughtful and inclusive decisions and seek out certified diverse suppliers. And we’re expanding our network to include more businesses owned by women, minorities, Veterans, people with disabilities, and LGBTQ individuals.
An open culture poised to embrace the journey ahead.
This journey we are on takes time. At Jazz we are proud of what we have accomplished so far but realize we have much more work to do. As we strive to do better, Jazz will continue to embrace the journey we are on to provide an inclusive culture supportive of all.
