We are seeking a skilled and experienced HR Generalist / Delivery International Team Leader to oversee and support our HR Delivery operations mostly across Europe, Australia, Japan and Canada.

This role involves managing a team of HR Delivery Partners, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and local implementation and support of core HR processes that align with our organizational goals and working closely with the Global Commercial HRBP. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of international labor laws and practices.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Engage with country general managers across Europe, Australia, Japan, Canada to understand business needs and ensure HR processes support organizational goals. 

  • Sit on the EILT (European International Leadership Team) and be accountable for operationalizing the People Strategy set by the Global Commercial HRBP. 

  • HR Delivery support to the regional teams, i.e. Medical, Marketing, CSOE, PAV. 

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HR generalists across various international locations, fostering a high-performance culture. 

  • Be the escalation point for any ER / OD / HR issues for non-US (beyond EU/INT Commercial) and covers broader employee / org issues.  

  • Lead cross region projects, e.g. org effectiveness, geo-expansion, employee listening. 

  • Partner with HRB&PP if projects require additional capacity. 

  • Oversee the implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations. 

  • Provide guidance and support to Country HR Delivery Partners on employee relations, performance management, and other HR-related matters. 

  • Collaborate with regional and global HR teams to ensure consistent HR practices across all international locations. 

  • Conduct locally required training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance. 

  • Handle complex employee relations issues and provide resolution in a fair and consistent manner. 

  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. 

  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement and well-being. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent work experience. 

  • Deep understanding of international labor laws and practices. 

  • need to have experience of HR management across the European markets we directly operate in, and ideally experience of Asia-Pac.  

  • Extensive  proven experience in HR management and leadership, with a focus on international HR operations. 

  • Experience of HR management across the European markets we directly operate in and ideally experience of APAC. 

  • Strong understanding of international labor laws and regulations. 

  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing and motivating HR professionals. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and diverse environment. 

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems 

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. 

  • Ability to travel as needed. 

Preferred Skills: 

  • Certification in HR (e.g., CIPD, SHRM). 

  • Experience in change management 

  • Familiarity with data analytics and HR metrics. 

  • Multilingual skills are a plus.
