About the Role:
This role will be a key member of the global People Technology Systems team that provides technical expertise to maintain, enhance, and optimize the HR systems (including Workday). This person will partner closely and collaboratively with People Technology team members, IS colleagues and HR team members to implement system enhancements, manage business requests, and deploy Workday projects for a thriving, growing, and dynamic organization.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the HR Systems owner accountable for Workday and other HR Systems.
Drive and support the design, development and implementation of Workday and other HR Systems solutions to meet business requirements.
Lead global People Technology projects acting as project manager, and/or influence projects to ensure common project management practices are followed.
Act as a strategic partner to global customers and apply technology driven solutions to business challenges and objectives.
Support and influence global customers to apply prioritization lens to project initiatives, enhancements and general changes to HR systems thereby forming input into the overall People Technology roadmap.
Manage workload from multiple projects at once and work with HR and/or business areas to prioritize requests.
Lead customer engagement and product life cycle for areas that may include Benefits, Payroll, HCM, and Adaptive Planning.
Lead/support Workday releases, assessing business impacts and opportunities for enhancements.
Train customer on current systems capability as well as show them the art of the possible for application of new technology and solutions.
Partner with Internal Audit to complete quarterly HR technology SOX-related audits.
Independently analyze, troubleshoot, test, and resolve Workday and other HR systems issues.
Develop custom reports and calculated fields to fulfill report and data requests.
Requirements:
5-7 years of Workday or related HR systems experience.
Expert experience in any of the following Workday areas required: Integrations, Absence, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, HCM, US Payroll, Recruiting, Talent, calculated fields, Adaptive Planning, and custom reports.
Ability to build strong partnering relationships with customers.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while working in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
Can work independently and research solutions.
Strong understanding of general global HR processes, procedures, controls, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Proficient in project management framework and execution.
Ability to work in a global setting and work collaboratively across geographies to ensure execution is seamless and timelines/deliverables are met.
Flexible in mind-set and will easily shift focus and reprioritize in line with business requirements.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal), detail oriented and has a pride in delivering an excellent work product.

Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices and we strive to provide employees with total compensation packages that are market competitive. For this role, the full and complete base pay range is: $131,200.00 - $196,800.00
Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, and other pertinent factors. The goal is to ensure fair and competitive compensation aligned with the candidate's expertise and contributions, within the established pay framework and our Total Compensation philosophy. Internal equity considerations will also influence individual base pay decisions. This range will be reviewed on a regular basis.
At Jazz, your base pay is only one part of your total compensation package. The successful candidate may also be eligible for a discretionary annual cash bonus or incentive compensation (depending on the role), in accordance with the terms of the Company's Global Cash Bonus Plan or Incentive Compensation Plan, as well as discretionary equity grants in accordance with Jazz's Long Term Equity Incentive Plan.
