Reporting to the Business Unit Head, the Associate Brand Manager (12 month FTC) is a developmental role accountable for project management and delivery of level-specific marketing projects, processes and campaigns within the Neuroscience business unit.
The role will also take on specific marketing projects (with appropriate support) to develop pharmaceutical marketing skills and experience, these projects to be agreed with the BUH and marketing lead.
The incumbent has responsibility for ensuring all activities are executed in accordance with regulatory and legal frameworks including but not limited to local legislation and guidelines, as well as Jazz Pharmaceuticals Policies and Healthcare compliance procedures.
Essential Functions
• The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and project management of the congress and meetings plan for the business unit and the tracking of the plan through the operational framework
• Lead (with appropriate support) the management and/or development of specific marketing projects as directed and agreed with the BUD and AD Marketing
• Support the field team as part of cross-functional working groups to deliver on field plan priorities such as Peer to Peer meetings
• Partner effectively with the AD Marketing, Director of Sales, Medical and Market Access Lead to participate in a truly cross-functional brand team
• Co-Leadership of the cross-functional Operational Reviews with the medical lead
• Interacts with functional leaders and major customers to support strategic plans and objectives for the UK/Ireland team
• Learn and develop skills to contribute to and disseminate understanding of market trends and best practice
• Oversee the development and implementation of the congress plan to ensure it is delivered effectively
• Management of existing materials through withdrawals and PI changes as directed by the AD Marketing
• Ensure all internal and external materials and programmes are reviewed and approved in accordance with JAZZ Pharmaceuticals standard operating procedures , the ABPI & IPHA codes
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Exceptional project management skills
• Ability to set goals, prioritise activities, and establish/meet challenging timelines
• Good leadership skills with a strong individual and group leadership approach
• Strong cross-functional management skills including the ability to influence without authority
• Proven ability to 'partner' successfully with cross-functional teams within country and region
• Experience in pharmaceutical marketing
• Ability to drive and complete at an operational level with a pragmatic hands-on approach
• Evidence of ability to develop innovative programs and approaches that support the needs of HCPs and commercial teams
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentations to large groups
• Strong inter-personal relationship building skills/collaboration and teamwork
• Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills to identify, understand and propose plans to address business issues and opportunities
Required/Preferred Education and Licenses
• Strong preference for a Science or Business Graduate. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (Life Science preferred)
