This position, reporting to the Senior Director of ARD, will be responsible for method development in support of early stage pharmaceutical product development activities.  The position requires working closely with the Research and Formulation Development personnel to provide testing and product characterization support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop novel assays for both APIs and excipients using HPLC-CAD and UPLC-MS  to support formulation research;
  • Conduct IPC, release and stability testing for DP candidates;
  • Develop phase appropriate bioanalytical method using  LC-MS/MS to support in life kinetics studies;
  • Summarize and report the analytical/bioanalytical results;
  • Work with downstream labs to support method transfer, training and troubleshooting.

Requirements:

  • BS/MS degree in Analytical Chemistry or related field
  • Experience in pharmaceutical analysis
  • Must have experience with method development, method qualification, method transfer, product analysis and document preparation. 
  • Broad knowledge of analytical chemistry & modern analytical technologies, GMP requirements, ICH/FDA Guidelines, and pharmaceutical product development is desired. 
  • It is a requirement to be fluent in modern methods of analysis including HPLC and other testing equipment, as well as associated software for data analysis.

For this role, the full and complete base pay range is: $96,000.00 - $144,000.00

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, and other pertinent factors. The goal is to ensure fair and competitive compensation aligned with the candidate's expertise and contributions, within the established pay framework and our Total Compensation philosophy. Internal equity considerations will also influence individual pay decisions. This range will be reviewed on a regular basis.

At Jazz/Celator, your base pay is only one part of your total compensation package. The successful candidate may also be eligible for a discretionary annual cash bonus or incentive compensation (depending on the role), in accordance with the terms of the Company's Global Cash Bonus Plan or Incentive Compensation Plan, as well as discretionary equity grants in accordance with Jazz’s Long Term Equity Incentive Plan.
