We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Account Manager (KAM) Norway specialized Haematology who is eager to contribute to improving patient outcomes across Norway. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team committed to advancing care in hematologic malignancies.

About the role

The role of the Key Account Manager, Norway is to maximise the full sales potential of the Haematology/Oncology (H/O) product portfolio with focus on AML.

Achieving sales and related performance targets (as defined by the management team). This will be achieved through coordination and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate patients have access to Jazz Pharmaceuticals H/O products.

Developing professional working partnerships with relevant stakeholders to positively influence sales potential, future guidelines, funding, positioning of products and ensure effective implementation of peer to peer/advocacy programs. It includes understanding and working with the Norwegian health care system, leveraging the differences and similarities as well as to drive Nordic collaboration for HCPs across the countries.

The KAM, Norway will take full accountability for the preparation and execution of strong territory business and key account management as agreed with the management team, fully utilizing agreed processes and procedures.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

  • Build cross functional account plans with colleagues and execute planned activities

  • Deliver sales and related objectives against targets, and remove potential prescribing barriers by helping priority accounts with solutions to local service limitations

  • Build customer networks that enable the rapid identification, diagnosis and treatment of patients.

  • Develop and implement impactful business plans and activities with strong focus on omnichannel approach, e.g., national online/F2F events, webinars, educational meetings, peer-to-peer programmes.

  • Localize centrally developed solutions in line with insights on local drivers and requirements by partnering with external stakeholders on key projects that will drive value to patients

  • Foster an entrepreneurial spirit with a focus on ownership and accountability to maximize individual and company goals, establish open and honest communication with peers and senior leadership

  • Accurate and timely reporting of customer and business records, through CRM system, using agreed performance measures

  • Collect and report pharmacovigilance information according to requirements and internal procedures

  • Conduct business in accordance with all regulations and within Company policy, procedure, and ethical standard

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Demonstrate knowledge of AML disease state (essential), product, customer, rare/orphan drug market, Haematology market, competing products and the broader healthcare marketplace

  • Proven account management skills that demonstrate business acumen and an innovative approach to projects & solutions that bring added value to Jazz Pharmaceuticals and other stakeholders.

  • Existing relationships with AML healthcare professions and Key External within Haematology in Norway

  • Ability to monitor and evaluate performance

  • Ability to analyse, interpret, and leverage data including sales analytics, CRM reports, business statistics and customer feedback that provides an information framework for the development of strategic business plans

  • Ability to identify, own and capture opportunities for business growth e.g., key account potential, new projects or added value services

  • Proficient IT skills in all business-related packages such as MS office

  • Experience in the utilisation of CRM tools

  • Demonstrable ability to engage with customers using multi-channel approaches and platforms.

  • Proven experience of working in a cross-functional team, and demonstrable project planning skills resulting in a measurable success for all parties.

  • Effective and persuasive communicator with professional presentation skills in settings such as face-to-face, multiple group engagements and virtual meetings

  • Excellent selling skills with previous speciality pharmaceutical sales experience and a proven track record in rare or orphan disease area

Required/Preferred Education and Licenses

  • Life Sciences Graduate or equivalent

  • LMI/LIF certification is mandatory (LMI Legemiddelkonsulent / Certified Pharma Consultant)

  • Fully valid driving license

  • Fluent in Norwegian (other Nordic language is plus and proficient in English

Description of Physical Demands

  • Responsibilities may require working outside of “normal” hours to meet business demands.

  • The size of territory will necessitate appropriate management of travel requirements to ensure coverage of customers as directed by the management team.

  • The incumbent must reside within the territory of their responsibility. 

  • Multi-channel engagement may require some home office working for some of the time.
