The HR Delivery Partner will function as the country lead for Spain, acting as a subject matter expert on local employment legislation, policies, and people practices. This role requires the ability to independently manage a wide range of complex employee relations issues, including regulatory compliance, works council engagement (where applicable), policy updates, and case resolution across the employee lifecycle. The HR Delivery Partner will work with a diverse range of stakeholders and collaborate closely with leaders, HRBPs, COEs, and People Operations to deliver high‑quality, country‑specific HR support. The role plays a key part in enabling business objectives by supporting the delivery of globally aligned people programs, strengthening leadership capability, and contributing to effective organisational design and talent development initiatives.

In addition to their primary focus on Spain, the HR Delivery Partner will also contribute additional capacity and expertise across the wider EUR/INT region, providing support to other European countries and partnering with the broader HR team as needed.

Essential Functions

  • A good understanding of the organisation, its strategy and customers, and an excellent understanding of the people challenges faced by the organisation.

  • Understand the supporting functional strategies to help deliver effective HR programs and projects including talent and performance management, compensation planning and driving these to completion within their countries.

  • As HR lead within more than 1 EU country, knowledge of local employment legislation and application will be required.

  • Bringing people expertise and delivering solutions to help the business area to deliver its strategy.

  • Collaborate with the Global HR teams ensuring to leverage the HR operating model fully including: working with People Ops to leverage their role fully across Jazz, working on process improvements, HR management tools, implement operational best practices.

  • Provide guidance and coaching on people practices and support on a wide range of HR issues to managers in keeping with multiple local country employment law, our overall HR practices, and workplace culture.

  • Counsel and coach frontline to senior managers on proactive leadership and provide advice to create productive and cooperative work environments in line with Jazz values that enhance employee engagement and develop the full potential of our talent.

  • Able to influence leaders through impactful questioning and challenge others to get to the root of people and business opportunities and issues.

  • Work with the Functional HRBPs to manage the implementation of change initiatives to support the achievement of functional goals and organizational growth within your countries.

  • Lead overall response to employee relations inquiries; conduct and manage the investigation of complaints and concerns across multiple countries; assess the severity of such issues; involve appropriate individuals in local legal teams, HR, and business; and facilitate appropriate action based on policy and practice.

  • Lead on the management of relevant workers councils and bodies to maintain positive employee relations in a regulated and collective context.

  • Educate employees and managers on policies, procedures, local laws, and standards both individually and in group sessions.

  • Proactive use of data, metrics and evidence to inform and drive decision making and change across key business areas.

  • Ensuring appropriate escalation and awareness is shared with the EUR/INT SHRBP.

  • Due to the nature of the work and to support continuity – all members of the team are required to support across the team and cover all functions and countries where required in order to cover during high workload and annual leave.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience of progressive HR partnership experience, across European countries, working in a role with accountability for partnering with leaders, managing employee relations and experience in at least two of the HR functional areas: performance management, rewards, talent acquisition or learning or organizational development.

  • Strong process orientation able to implement global solutions in multiple countries. Also able to design and develop policies, procedures and programmes necessary in individual countries.

  • Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact positively and effectively with stakeholders at all levels in the organization.

  • Demonstrated advising and coaching skills for up to senior level managers.

  • Demonstrated ability to define problems, establish creative solutions, and determine the optimal course of action in the context of broader organizational strategies and objectives.

  • Works well under pressure, meets deadlines, drives projects to completion, and manages the results.

  • Should possess excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service orientation and management presence.

  • Experience working within a global organization with a focus on matrix teams and projects.

  • Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive matters with high integrity.

  • Ability to work independently yet be highly collaborative.

  • Strong ability to handle people data to inform decisions and key areas on which to focus.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and HR systems (preferably Workday).

Required/Preferred Education and Licenses

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or related discipline is required

  • HR professional certification is preferred

  • Experience with workers councils and or collective agreements in relevant countries required.

  • Local language for supporting country (Spain) required, plus one additional European Language is preferred (Italian, German, French)
