​​The Senior Manager, Analytics Center of Excellence (CoE) is responsible for overseeing the enterprise Analytics CoE within Digital, Enterprise & Cloud (DEC), with primary accountability for the Power BI analytics platform. The Analytics COE Lead is responsible for managing a secure, scalable, and well‑governed analytics platform that enables trusted self‑service analytics across the organization.  The role leads a central vendor‑managed delivery team and partners closely with DEC data platform operations, architecture, security, data governance, and functional analytics teams. The COE Lead defines visualization standards, naming standards, governance, security, migration approaches, and training frameworks to ensure consistent, high‑quality analytics while enabling flexibility for business‑specific needs.

​​Essential Functions/Responsibilities 

  • ​Lead and operate the Analytics CoE for Power BI, including visualization best practices, development standards, migration support, and training delivery. 

  • ​Define and maintain the CoE operating model, clarifying roles and decision rights across DEC, vendors, and functional analytics teams. 

  • ​Own end‑to‑end Power BI platform management, including tenant configuration, workspace strategy, capacity planning, and lifecycle management. 

  • ​Establish and enforce standards for data modeling, visualization, performance optimization, and deployment across environments (Dev/Test/Prod). 

  • ​Define governance processes that balance self‑service enablement with appropriate oversight and compliance. 

  • ​Lead a central vendor team responsible for Power BI platform administration, configuration, migration and training. 

  • ​Design and oversee Power BI security architecture, including authentication, workspace partitioning, row‑level and object‑level security, sensitivity labeling, and access controls. 

  • ​Partner with DEC teams to ensure alignment of standards and adherence to enterprise policies and regulatory requirements. 

  • ​Define migration sequencing, content rationalization, and success criteria in partnership with business and DEC stakeholders. 

  • ​Advise on the Power BI platform roadmap, aligning enhancements to enterprise data and analytics strategy. 

  • ​Define service levels, KPIs, and performance expectations for vendor partners. 

  • ​Ensure vendor delivery aligns with DEC architecture standards, security requirements, and business priorities. 

  • ​Define and oversee the Power BI training and enablement strategy, including role‑based learning paths for developers, model owners, and consumers. 

  • ​Sponsor and govern a Power BI Community of Practice to promote best practices, reuse, and adoption. 

  • ​Enable sustainable self‑service analytics through clear guidance, reusable assets, and education. 

  • ​Partner with functional analytics teams and business leaders to align platform capabilities with evolving needs. 

 

​Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities  

  • ​8+ years of experience in analytics platforms, BI, or enterprise data technology roles. 

  • ​Deep experience with Power BI, including tenant administration, security, data modeling and visualization best practices. 

  • ​Experience operating an analytics platform or Center of Excellence in a hub‑and‑spoke delivery model. 

  • ​Proven vendor or offshore delivery management experience. 

  • ​Strong stakeholder management, communication, and change‑leadership skills. 

  • ​Experience leading enterprise BI platform migrations or transformations. 

  • ​Experience building analytics training programs or communities of practice. 

  • ​Highly self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously. 

  • ​Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and demanding environment.

​Required/Preferred Education and Licenses 

  • ​Bachelor’s degree in Data, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field 

  • ​Pharma industry experience or similar regulated industry experience preferred 

  • ​Relevant Power BI or data/analytics certifications.

Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices and we strive to provide employees with total compensation packages that are market competitive. For this role, the full and complete base pay range is: $141,600.00 - $212,400.00

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, and other pertinent factors. The goal is to ensure fair and competitive compensation aligned with the candidate's expertise and contributions, within the established pay framework and our Total Compensation philosophy. Internal equity considerations will also influence individual base pay decisions. This range will be reviewed on a regular basis.

At Jazz, your base pay is only one part of your total compensation package. The successful candidate may also be eligible for a discretionary annual cash bonus or incentive compensation (depending on the role), in accordance with the terms of the Company's Global Cash Bonus Plan or Incentive Compensation Plan, as well as discretionary equity grants in accordance with Jazz's Long Term Equity Incentive Plan.
